Unlimited data: how it works
All our packages are unlimited. Every day you get an amount of data at full speed. Once it's used up, you keep browsing at a lower speed, with no limit.

Usually 2 GB a day at full speed, then unlimited at up to 1 Mbit/s, sometimes slower
How much at full speed
At most destinations you get 2 GB a day, then up to 1 Mbit/s. At some destinations it's slower after that, up to 512, 500 or 384 kbit/s. A few destinations have 3 GB a day. What applies to your destination is shown with the package and in your confirmation.
When it's fast again
A new day starts every 24 hours, counted from your first connection. Then you have the full amount again. You can see when your next day starts on your “My eSIM” page.
Packages for several countries
With a package such as Europe, the daily amount applies to all countries together, not to each country separately.
What works well at 1 Mbit/s
WhatsApp with messages, voice messages and calls, maps and navigation, email, browsing, social media with photos and music. Videos play in lower quality.
What does not work well at 1 Mbit/s
HD videos, high quality video calls, big downloads and app updates. These are best done on Wi-Fi.
And when it's slower
At 512 kbit/s or less, messages, email and maps still work well. Photos load more slowly and videos barely play.
Hotspot
You can connect your own devices, such as a laptop or tablet, through your phone's hotspot. Everything that goes through the hotspot counts toward your daily amount.
When the network is busy
Even before your daily amount is used up, things can slow down, for example when many people use the network in the same place. No network can promise a fixed speed. How fast it is depends on the local network, your location and your phone.
What the plan is not meant for
The eSIM is for your own smartphone or tablet. Not allowed are routers, mobile Wi-Fi devices, data sticks and other devices without their own screen, reselling the connection, and use that disrupts the network, such as a server running all the time. In such cases the network may lower the speed or block the eSIM (section 6 of our terms).
See your usage
On your “My eSIM” page you can see how much you have used and how many days are left. You will find the link in your confirmation email. Your phone also shows your usage: on iPhone under Settings, Mobile Service, on Samsung under Settings, Connections, Data usage, on Google Pixel under Settings, Network & internet, SIMs.
Adding more
You cannot add days or data later. So choose as many days as your trip lasts right away. If you need more after all, buy a new eSIM, ideally while you still have internet.
These rules are part of our terms (sections 2.3 and 6). Last updated: 4 October 2026.
